Vegan Sour Cream & Cheddar Potato Chips!

Missing sour cream and cheddar-flavored potato chips? Not anymore! You only need two ingredients and a couple of minutes to make these delicious chips!

Use the low-sodium version of my Magickal Cheezy Seasoning with regular chips, or the original version of the seasoning with unsalted chips. (Using the original seasoning with regular chips will make them too salty.) You can use the low-sodium seasoning with unsalted chips if you are on a low sodium diet.

Add the Magickal Cheezy Seasoning to a gallon-size ziplock bag. The amount given is for an average amount of cheesiness. If you like very strongly flavored chips, you can add extra seasoning (for reference, double the amount is really strong!)

Add the chips and seal the bag, leaving a pocket of air in the bag:

Shake to coat the chips:

Serve and enjoy!

  • 2 oz Potato Chips
  • 7.0 g (2 1/4 tsp) Low-Sodium Magickal Cheezy Seasoning (see notes)

Instructions

  1. Add the Magickal Cheezy Seasoning to a gallon-size ziplock bag.

  2. Add the chips and seal the bag, leaving a pocket of air in the bag.

  3. Shake to coat the chips. Serve and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

  • Use the low-sodium version of my Magickal Cheezy Seasoning with regular chips, or the original version of the seasoning with unsalted chips. (Using the original seasoning with regular chips will make them too salty.) You can use the low-sodium seasoning with unsalted chips if you are on a low sodium diet.
  • If you do not have a scale, look on your chip package to see how many chips are in a one ounce serving. Double that number to know how many chips you need for the two ounces in this recipe.
