Vegan Honee & Lemon (a comforting hot drink for sick days)

My Grandma used to make this delicious and comforting hot drink for me when I was a little girl. My mom veganized it, and it is perfect for sick days!

Ingredients

  • 420 g (1 3/4 c) Water
  • 80 g (1/3 c) Lemon Juice
  • 85 g (1/4 c) Vegan Honee
  • Tiny pinch Salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the lemon juice and vegan honee to the water, and mix together until the honee dissolves. (Add the optional tiny pinch of salt too if you are using it.)
  2. Pour half of the mixture into a mug and heat in the microwave until it is as hot as you want it.

  3. Add more lemon juice and/or honee, according to your taste.

  4. Get back in bed, sip slowly, and feel better!
