Beans 'N Gravy

Very simple, but really delicious, beans in a savory sauce! Serve over rice, on top of baked potatoes, or with your favorite bread!

Ingredients

  • 2 16 oz cans Great Northern Beans
  • 10 g (2 tsp) Frank's Hot Sauce
  • 14 g (1 TBS) Earth Balance Spread
  • 6 g (1 1/2 tsp) Magical Seasoning Blend
  • 5 g (1 tsp) Liquid Smoke
  • 5 g (1 TBS) Nutritional Yeast
  • 3 large Green Onions, chopped
  • Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. Do NOT drain the beans! Add all of the ingredients, except for the green onions and black pepper, to a glass bowl, and stir to combine.

  2. Heat for two minutes in the microwave, then stir to mix in the now melted Earth Balance. Heat for another two minutes, then stir gently but thoroughly to get everything well blended. Heat for another minute if needed to get the beans piping hot.

  3. Serve over rice, on top of baked potatoes, or with your favorite bread. Add the black pepper and chopped green onions on top. Enjoy!
