Greek Seasoning

I love the combination of herbs and spices in this Greek Seasoning! It makes amazing roasted dinners and I will post the recipe for that next. I will also be using this blend in other recipes coming up, so be sure to mix some up. Here are the ingredients you will need:

Weigh or measure the herbs and spices into a bowl. They look so pretty together, and the combined aroma is fantastic!

Stir to mix together:

Add the mixture to a small food processor bowl and blend:

Transfer your Greek Seasoning to an airtight container and store at room temperature.

 

Greek Seasoning

This seasoning blend is a delightful combination of herbs and spices that are traditionally used in Greek cooking.

Ingredients

  • 20 g (2 TBS + 2 tsp) Ground Cinnamon
  • 20 g (2 TBS + 2 tsp) Paprika
  • 10 g (3 TBS + 1 tsp) Dried Marjoram Leaves
  • 10 g (3 TBS + 1 tsp) Dried Mint Leaves
  • 10 g (3 TBS + 1 tsp) Dried Dill Weed
  • 10 g (3 TBS + 1 tsp) Dried Rosemary Leaves
  • 5 g (1 TBS + 2 tsp) Dried Oregano Leaves
  • 5 g (1 TBS + 2 tsp ) Dried Basil Leaves
  • 5 g (1 TBS + 1/8 tsp) Ground Thyme
  • 5 g (2 tsp) Ground Nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Weigh or measure all the herbs and spices into a bowl, and stir together.

  2. Add the mixture to a small food processor bowl, and blend until nearly all the herbs are ground up. It is fine if very small pieces of rosemary remain.

  3. Transfer your Greek Seasoning to an airtight container and store at room temperature.
