Tornado Whisk Review

My favorite whisk for making sauces, gravies, puddings, caramel, and candy broke last week! The shape of a tornado whisk allows you to reach the entire bottom of your pan quickly and easily. This makes burning on the bottom of your pan much less likely, and the shape also makes for perfectly smooth sauces and gravies. I loved my tornado whisk and used it a lot!

I couldn’t remember which brand my broken one is and there is no name on it. I found two brands on Amazon, though, and ordered this set:

It comes with one 12″ whisk, one 8″ whisk, and a small silicone spatula for $14.99. This was a really good deal since one 10″ Kuhn whisk is $21.75!

The 12″ one is about the same size as my broken one, but is not quite as sturdy. The wires bend a little bit when stirring a thick pudding:

I don’t know if the Kuhn one would be any sturdier, and this one worked just fine. I like having the smaller one as well for smaller recipes, and the spatula is a very handy size too. It works well for small jobs and has just the right amount of flexibility:

All in all, I definitely recommend this E4U set, and it is a really great price!
