Seasoned Black Beans

These delicious seasoned black beans are ready in under 10 minutes! I like to eat them in a burrito bowl for a quick meal, but you can add seasoned beans to lots of dishes! Here are the ingredients you need to make them:

Rinse and drain the beans, then add them to a glass bowl:

Combine the water, lemon juice, and taco seasoning in a small bowl. Whisk well to combine:

Pour the sauce over the beans and mix together:

Cook in the microwave on high for two minutes, then stir. The sauce will not be thickened yet:

Cook for two more minutes and stir again. The sauce should be nice and thick now:

Serve as desired and enjoy!

This is my quick and easy burrito bowl. It is just warm rice, warm seasoned beans, defrosted frozen corn, bell pepper, avocado, and tomato!

Add some salsa, a dollop of vegan sour cream, and some chopped green onion to make it even better!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) Black Beans
  • 7.5 g (1 1/2 tsp) Lemon Juice
  • 13.5 g (1 1/2 TBS) Vegan Kitchen Magick Taco Seasoning
  • 90 g (3/8 c) Water

Instructions
