Vegan taco “meat” is so easy and quick to make that you can have vegan tacos on the table in just 15 minutes! I prefer the Gardein beefless ground to Beyond Meat’s Beefy Crumbles because you get an additional serving (there are 13.7 oz in the Gardein compared to only 10 oz in the Beyond Beef Crumbles), but both work very well in this recipe. If you can’t get either one, any vegan minced “meat” product should work as long as you use the same amount (10 to 14 oz).
Heat the oil in a non-stick pan on medium heat:
Add the defrosted crumbles and stir to coat them with the oil:

Add the water and mix well, being sure to loosen any bits that have stuck to the pan:
Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and cook for three to five minutes, until the sauce has thickened:
Serve as desired in tacos, in a burrito bowl, on nachos, or any way you like!
